Our Supporters

Vision for Asia is supported by Church organisations and individuals through regular financial giving and one-off donations.

We are extremely grateful for the support of a local Rotary Club who generously donated to our Rupamari Medical Check-up programme. Our gratitude also extends to J&A Cameras in Barnstaple, North Devon for donating a Nikon DSLR camera lens to enable clearer images to be taken on one of our trips to India, a lot of which are featured on this website.

Whatever help we receive, in whatever form it may take, it is hugely appreciated. If it were not for the selfless generosity of our supporters, our work would not be possible.

Will you partner with us in order to make an impact on the lives of people living in one of the poorest parts of the world?

We are looking for businesses who can support our work and help us respond even more effectively in delivering projects and humanitarian aid throughout Asia. By partnering with Vision for Asia, your organisation will be showing a commitment to the welfare of people living in extreme poverty by making a positive and lasting difference.

  • Please pray for the island communities of West Bengal who have lost their homes due to the recent Cyclone Amphan. If you are able to donate financially to help to rebuild their lives, please do so through the donstions page on our website www.visionforasia.org

  • Praying for this beautiful part of West Bengal, and the people I have been privileged to meet, as the tropical cyclone Amphan continues to approach the coasts.
The area to be hit today is particularly populated and exposed to the risk of flooding. Homes will inevitably be destroyed. Evacuation operations to brick shelters are being carried out in the effort to keep people safe during the impact, however the epidemic of covid-19 complicates evacuation, with the authorities trying to enforce the rules of social distancing.

  • Together with our partners in Asia, we thank you for your continuing prayer and financial support. You are enabling our partners to buy and distribute food parcels to those at risk of starvation during this time of global crisis.
If you would like to help support this work financially you can do so through the donations page on our website https://www.visionforasia.org/about-us/make-a-donation/

  • Covid-19 has no borders, neither does it socially distance. During this global pandemic, please remember those who are already living in poverty throughout Asia. They have inadequate hand washing facilities, no work and are now experiencing a desperate shortage of food. Our partners are striving to distribute food parcels to as many people as possible. If you are able to support their work in preventing these people from starving to death, please do so through our website https://www.visionforasia.org/about-us/make-a-donation/

  • God of all Wisdom, we pray for our leaders: the World Health Organisation, national governments, and local leaders too - heads of schools, hospitals and other institutions. Since you have positioned these people in public service for this hour, we ask you to grant them wisdom beyond their own wisdom to contain this virus, faith beyond their own faith to fight this fear, and strength beyond their own strength to sustain vital institutions through this time of turmoil. God of all Wisdom and Counsel, you are powerful and merciful; may this be our prayer. "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." Ephesians 6:18

  • This Easter will forever be one that we all remember. Though days of uncertainty and fear have seemingly left the world crippled, there is a Hope that will get us through these dark times. Jesus was crucified and was buried, but just when the world had seemingly lost hope, He rose from the dead. His resurrection provides hope. “Do not be afraid, He is not here; for He is risen.” Even though people are physically distant, be encouraged, God does not practice social distancing.
We wish you all an Easter of love and peace.

  • On Mothering Sunday, we thank God for mothers worldwide who sacrifice so much for the sake of their children. We pray that the Lord would bless, protect and give them His peace during these troubling times in which we all share.

  • As we take steps to protect ourselves and others physically from the spread of COVID-19, let us also remember to turn to God for protection and healing. We invite you to join us in praying for peace, protection, and healing.
Father God, we cry out to you now on behalf of those infected by the coronavirus. In your mercy, heal the sick and bind up the broken-hearted.
As both infection and fear spread, we ask for courage and protection for healthcare workers and those whose jobs make it impossible to self-isolate, risking their own well-being for the sake of others. We pray wisdom for government officials and those in decision-making positions. May they rightly discern what needs to be done to treat those already infected and prevent others from falling sick.
We know there are those in quarantine, afraid they might be exposed to illness, wondering when they will return to their normal lives, anxious about what might happen next. Father God, comfort them with your peace that passes understanding and grant them patience during this frightening season.
Lord of all, we are intimately connected to one another no matter where we reside on the earth, and so we plead for healing, good healthcare, relief and wholeness for our partners and friends in Asia and in all the nations where this virus has made its appearance.
Heavenly Father, we pray for you to intervene to stop the spread of the coronavirus and to bring an end to this epidemic. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
In times like these, we are reminded that “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear…” (Ps. 46: 1-2). #prayer #coronavirus #healthesick #protectourworld
  • “Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between His will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer" ELISABETH ELLIOT Christian author and mission worker.
We realise that Vision for Asia asks a lot from its supporters; there are emergency appeals, requests for prayer and campaigns to sign up to and publicise. Please don’t ever feel that we take your incredible generosity for granted. It is the prayers of our supporters that are the true lifeblood of Vision for Asia’s work. Please be assured that as you pray for this work, we and our partners are praying for you, also.
