Mission

Would you like to know more about what we do, and meet some of the people that we work with? Then a Vision for Asia ministry team is for you. We have worked with mission partners across India, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar and the Philippines for many years, and we have an intimate knowledge of those mission fields.

We invite you to come along and play your part at whatever level suits you. Teams are organised by very experienced leaders who will intricately plan every stage of that particular journey. Providing a mixture of ministry and some relaxation and sightseeing thrown in for good measure, you will have an unforgettable experience. Whatever happens, you will not return the same, and you will have tasted of the wonderful work we have been privileged to be involved in.

Vision for Asia Ministry

Field Trips

Field Trips offer the chance to visit and encourage our partners and to witness the awesome work that they are doing. At such times we try to bless the wider community by having fun with the children, giving them gifts and reaching out to their families through a meal together. There are always opportunities to speak, preach, and interact with the churches we visit.

If you would like to share unforgettable moments with amazing servants of the Lord, then a Field Trip is for you. It can broaden your perspective, connect you to new lifelong friends and can infuse you with a fresh passion for the Lord.

As you go out on a Field Trip, you will be connecting yourself and your church to these opportunities, as you build friendships that can advance the kingdom.

Vision for Asia, together with our partners, invite you to join us and see the work in action for yourselves.

Pastoral Support

The most effective means of reaching Asia with the Gospel is through indigenous pastors and Christian workers. We are blessed to be partnering with some very special men and women who look after on average 3 villages each. This means they spend a lot of time travelling to take services, hold prayer meetings and to offer pastoral and humanitarian assistance. These villages can be miles apart and in remote places, so transport is often difficult and expensive. We try to help as often as we can by providing bicycles, motorbikes and vehicles to help our partners with their travel needs.

These pastors are in desperate need of financial assistance, simply requiring the basics in order to survive. Their congregations often consist of the poorest of the poor who cannot provide the pastor with a sustainable income for his family.

£25 a month will help a Pastor and his family with everyday living expenses.

As well as practical support, Pastors need spiritual encouragement from time to time. This is provided through pastoral training, conferences and youth camps. Teams of experienced preachers and teachers from the UK visit to provide this support.
